Case Study #1 – A major, fast growing Internet
etailing company required the website to be high performing and
scalable
Solution: The client is a fast growing Internet
company in the etailing business. Their website needs to handle
mission critical, high transaction throughput. The client sells
a variety of products on the web and their website needs to provide
high performance, scalability and security. Our consultants studied
the system from the webserver to the backend database. They tuned
the whole application to increase transaction throughput as well
as the response time for the end-user. The Oracle database was tuned
using partitioning techniques and the webserver performance improved
for scalability. We also provided data warehousing solution to enable
the client to better manage their customer base. The client was
extremely satisfied with the performance and continues to use our
services to manage the performance of the whole system. The system
was implemented using Oracle Applications, Web server and Java on
Sun platforms.

Case Study #3 – A major multinational bank
wanted to provide online financial services to its millions of customers.
Solution: The client is a multinational bank providing
a variety of financial services to its corporate as well as individual
customers. They wanted to provide all these services Online to their
customers. Our consultants built the complete solution from the
web front-end to the backend database as well as the workflow applications
to connect the different parts of the application. The services
that were provided Online were loan processing, venture startup
funding information, lease information, Bank Account Information

Case Study #4 – A consumer electronics giant
wanted implementation of software for managing Television screens
on Airplane seats
Solution: The client is one of the foremost consumer
electronics companies in the world. The client won a major project
from many commercial airlines to install its miniature TVs on the
back of passenger seats. Our consultants wrote the code to drive
these TV sets enabling passengers to tune, control the volume and
choose the movies they would like to watch on their TV sets on a
flight. The drivers for managing all these functionalities were
written in C++ on Windows platform. The drivers were then installed
in embedded controllers for eventual deployment on the commercial
airlines. |
